LATEST - Patch Update Brought to Next Gen Consoles
After the release of NBA 2K22 we've seen a couple of patches brought to the game to help with stability. Players on PS5 experienced bugs after the update, but Xbox Series X|S didn't.
You can also expect some updates to be added to The City after you perform the update today. It's a small download so don't expect too many changes though.
Here are a few of the updates that you can expect to see:
- Additional stability improvements in an ongoing effort to improve your user experience.
- Fixed an issue that was causing City/Rec/Pro-Am/W Online games to disconnect either before the game started or at the conclusion of the game.
- Addressed an error code issue that was preventing specific MyCAREER saves from being able to load into the City.

NBA 2K22 Next Gen review
We've been playing NBA 2K22 for some time now and figured it'd be a great time to do a next gen review for you!
The NBA 2K22 gameplay has definitely improved, however, there seem to be bugs within the tutorials, which won't help players who are new to the game.
Having said that, new players will improve fast, with plenty of offline game modes to try out and get the hand of the mechanics.

The Cross-Gen Digital Bundle is priced at £74.99 / $79.99, which grants access to the standard edition for both current and next gen platforms.
The 75th Anniversary Edition on Xbox Series X|S is priced at £84.99 / $99.99 (this includes both the current gen and next gen versions).
The NBA 2K22 WNBA 25th Anniversary Edition on Xbox Series X|S is priced at £64.99 / $69.99.

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks graces the cover of both the Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Digital Bundles.
The 75th Anniversary Edition on the other hand will see Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and current NBA star Kevin Durant on the cover.
Next Gen Game Modes
The City made a rousing debut last year as a next gen exclusive game mode that many have called a true basketball RPG.
This unique single player experience broke new ground, and hopefully it will continue to do so when NBA 2K22 returns to next gen.
We'll see The City back, but hopefully the game can bring more innovative content as they continue to take advantage of and utilize next gen technology.
Pressure is higher than ever for NBA 2K22
Nailing the transition between current gen and next gen is only going to be harder this year as NBA 2K22 simultaneously launched on both eras of platforms.
However, the good news for 2K Sports is that they could be in for a huge year if things deliver with this much pressure on them.
