The next set of NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 packs are on the way courtesy of Volume 2 set in MyTEAM.

We don't only have the information on the packs but what else there is to do in MyTEAM over the next six weeks.

UPDATED - Volume 2 cards

We're getting some more cards added to NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 as Volume 2 is set to be revealed very soon.

This volume will feature 40 new cards including 10 new "Select" players needed to unlock Amethyst D'Angelo Russell and Pascal Siakam.

If you want to earn the Diamond Jaylen Brown you'll have to complete the first "Select" collection across Vol. 1 and 2.

NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1

A few things about NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 have been revealed, this includes the Level 1 and Level 40 rewards.

Although the full details haven't been announced, we can definitely go over what was revealed in the latest Courtside Report

The Level 1 Free Agent Giannis Antetokounmpo will be available for players at launch. You can use him for five games through Domination, Clutch Time, Triple Threat, and other game modes.

The Level 40 NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 reward is the 96 OVR Pink Diamond Scottie Pippen. Pippen was a fan favorite last year and we'll definitely try to get this card.

Release Date for NBA 2K23

The official NBA 2K23 release date is September 9, 2022, which is only a few weeks away. This means that Season 1 is just around the corner.

When you first begin the first six weeks of the game, you'll be presented with a chance to earn a Championship Ring in Limited.

Limited in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 received a significant upgrade as well. The new lineup tool will help you build your lineup to the requirements set.

This makes it a lot easier for new players to set their lineups and Eras are supported in Limited as well, meaning historic broadcasts and rules can be applied.

Seasonal Player Cards in MyTEAM

A brand new feature coming to NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 is Seasonal Player Cards. You'll see a revolving set of cards this year in every pack.

It was revealed in the Courtside Report that every two weeks a new Volume of cards will be released, alongside special “Select” versions.

During NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 there are 8 collections to complete with Amethyst and Diamond rewards for the most common cards pulled from packs.

One of these cards is the Diamond Lamar Odom which is available in:

• Triple Threat Online
• Triple Threat Online: Co-Op Competitive
• Clutch Time Wheel Spins
• Draft’s Ascension
• The Weekly Wheel (Log-in Rewards)

Now, let's take a look at the Challenges and Domination news we received in the Courtside Report.

Domination & Challenges in Season 1

It will likely be some time before each Domination tier in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 is revealed but we have a little bit of information.

What we know so far is that Domination will launch with five sets of 33 games, spanning the Current NBA, Golden & Modern Age Historic teams, NBA Champions, and finally the All-Time teams for each NBA franchise.

Along with the Domination area of NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1, you'll be greeted with additional challenges.

The Season 1 Signature Challenge will pit you against Michael Jordan and his team to earn a Diamond Jordan Shoe Colorway, shoe boosts, and a Hall of Fame badge.

Shades Of Packs

The Shades Of Packs were released for NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Season 1 today and features a ton of great cards that you'll want to add.

The good news is that there are three rookie cards that you can upgrade from Sapphire to Diamond, if you do you'll receive a Pink Diamond Cade Cunningham.
