NBA 2K23 Season 2 is finally about to arrive, and the latest set of content additions will embrace the Wild West feel.

Now that the game has been out for several weeks, it's time for a fresh coat of paint as Season 2 is about to land in NBA 2K23.

Legendary cover athlete Michael Jordan took the spotlight in Season 1 with the Call to Greatness, but it's our other cover star Devin Booker who will be the focus of NBA 2K23 Season 2.

The confirmed NBA 2K23 Season 2 Release Date is set for Friday, October 21, 2022 at approximately 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST.

While the date has been known for some time, the release time confirmation came along with the NBA 2K23 Update 1.05 Patch Notes.

Now let's dig in to the new content heading to MyTEAM, MyCAREER, and The W Online in NBA 2K23 Season 2.

MyCAREER

We've got tons of new rewards and ways to enjoy The City on the way as thematic Wild West courts and artwork will be littered throughout MyCAREER as Season 2 kicks off.

Full rewards lists have yet to be unveiled, but we know that new jumpshot meters and releases, a Skeleton outfit, and a Level 40 Reward Jabbawockeez outfit are all on the way.

In addition, J. Cole's Dreamville label will have new apparel in MyCAREER and The Long Night will return for an in-game Halloween experience.

MyTEAM

As things continue to heat up in MyTEAM, NBA 2K23 Season 2 will see the very first Dark Matter cards of the year begin to arrive.

At the top of the pack, the Level 40 Reward will be a PD Devin Booker (96 OVR), but things start off at Level 1 with Free Agent Nikola Jokic.

Other additions expected in Season 2 are Emerald Tre Jones, Sapphire Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Ruby Mychal Thompson.

Amethyst Zion Williamson from the Season 1 Intensity release will be back as a non-auctionable reward that pairs with Emerald Tre Jones for a new Dynamic Duo.

Moments will arrive throughout the season as expected as players look to fill their Trophy Case Collections that lead to the eventual 99 overall Dark Matter Julius Erving and Tim Duncan rewards.

The W Online

As the Las Vegas Aces recently won the 2022 WNBA Finals, they'll be among the player jerseys coming in NBA 2K23 Season 2.

Championship duo Chelsea Gray and A'ja Wilson will lead the pack along with Minnesota Lynx players Sylvia Fowles and Ariel Powers, and Connecticut Sun stars Jonquel Jones and Alyssa Thomas.

The jerseys will be available in both The City and The GOAT Boat, and new challenges and goals will hit The W Online with rewards they've yet to reveal.
