Release date

NBA 2K23 Season 8 goes live on June 30, around 8AM PST/4PM GMT. All the new content will hit the game after that time. Players just need to do a small update to get access to it.

Season 8 will try to revitalize NBA 2K23 as a whole. With the NBA 2023 season being over, and the offseason being in full force, most players are already looking to NBA 2K24.

The new rewards that arrive at MyTEAM also give competitive players something to grind for. It allows them to earn plenty of great cards, packs, and items.

As mentioned above, Season 8 brings rewards to almost all the game modes.

MyCAREER players will get a chance to earn plenty of cosmetics, such as a New Era hat, a helmet, and an NBA Mascot suit, among many others.

Players can also earn badge points and secure the incredible Core Badge Pattern if they reach LVL 40.

For MyTEAM, Season 8 will bring new End Game and Invincible cards. End Game cards are the best in the game. That's because they have all the badges at the Hall of Fame level, making them almost unstoppable.

At the start of Season 8, users will be gifted with an End Game Steph Curry card. Players will be able to earn other spectacular cards as they progress through the reward ladder.

The goal of Season 8 is to reach LVL 40 and unlock the amazing End Game MVP Joel Embiid card. Along the way, users will also collect player packs, shoe packs, and various other items.

Season 8 also brings The W game mode some rewards. Players will be able to earn weekly and seasonal rewards such as a Stewie 1 Shoe Card, or a Skylar Diggins-Smith Jersey.
