With ongoing issues continuing to need a fix in NBA 2K23 since launch, some fans will definitely be excited to see the deployment of a new update today.
The deployment of NBA 2K23 Update 1.010 began on the morning of November 28, 2022 and appears to be going out across all systems.
We can confirm this is Version 1.010 on PS5, though version numbers and download size vary somewhat across platforms.

Some reports of Version 1.08 downloading show a massive 41 GB size which is more likely to be the result of a consistent PS4 bug that often triggers large chunks of the game to re-download with each update.
By comparison, the NBA 2K23 Update 1.010 clocks in at 6.533 GB on PS5, and download size and version numbers are not yet known for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, though X|S users have reported the update did deploy.
What did Version 1.010 / Version 1.08 actually fix?
Unfortunately, we're still waiting on any official patch notes from 2K and they may not arrive, as the company has been very sporadic about those releases this year.
In the meantime, reports from players have indicated that issues like losing adrenaline boost when running off ball have now been remedied.
The daily music quest to record tracks appears to have also been fixed for PS5 players, as it would previously cause a game crash.
However, the update may have brought new problems along with these fixes as one player reported the ability to edit contracts in MyNBA is newly broken.
With the arrival of Season 3 not far out for both MyCAREER and MyTEAM, it's also likely some prep for that launch was bundled together with this update.
