Despite last weekend's encouraging win over Chelsea, Manchester United did little to convince their fans that they were about to end their recent slump in the early exchanges at Selhurst Park. 

Crystal Palace, leading 2-0 shortly after the break, will have believed they were close to securing an unlikely, important win in their bid to stay up.

However, second half substitutions proved successful for Jose Mourinho as his team came from behind, capped off in the most dramatic of circumstances as Nemanja Matic struck from distance in injury time.
