On a day when Moscow celebrated Yuri Gagarin’s ascent into space, Arsenal could barely get off the ground. 

The Gunners are connoisseurs when it comes to spectacular collapses, and they almost exceeded themselves with a slapstick performance in Moscow, rescued by late goals from Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey.

CSKA, who were another side entirely from the one that flailed in North London last week, can count themselves unlucky after a display that was full of heart and purpose.
