FA Cup: Chelsea 2-0 Southampton - 5 things we learned


In the end, it was comfortable for Chelsea but it might have been very different. Southampton had chances and, at 1-0 down, saw a goal dubiously ruled out for a foul on goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

But the Blues made their superiority tell and it is difficult to argue that they were not deserving winners.

Goals from striker Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata were enough for Chelsea who will meet Manchester United in next month's FA Cup final.
