Liverpool now know a draw will be enough. A point against Brighton at Anfield on Sunday will mean a top-four finish and a guarantee of Champions League football next season.

Chelsea, who are in fifth and two points behind Liverpool ahead of the final day, will hope that Brighton can prevent that. The Seagulls head to Anfield having comfortably avoided relegation but on the back of a difficult trip to the Etihad against champions Manchester City in midweek.

They have, however, proved resilient opposition throughout the season. Brighton only last week beat Manchester United and are not likely to roll over for a Liverpool side whose attention might be on their upcoming Champions League final.

Here are three key battles that could decide the game.
