Manchester City: 5 possible transfer targets this summer

Twelve months ago, Pep Guardiola’s reputation was dwindling. Manchester City were nowhere near a trophy, and twelve months in the unforgiving environment of England had the commentators questioning the Spaniards’ brittle style. Too tippy for Stoke and too tappy for West Brom, Eastlands expectations were far from being exceeded.

All that has changed, of course. Guardiola secured the title at a canter, and his side have a legitimate claim as one of the best in the competitions’ history. Their rivals won’t take that success lightly, however, and will be sure to strengthen their own reserves to prepare for an assault on the Champions come August. With that in mind, here are 5 targets City should secure.
