Tottenham's Dele Alli appears to have something of a stranglehold on the PFA Young Player of the Year Award. The England midfielder has received the accolade two years in a row and is expected to be amongst the contenders again come the end of this season.

He will face stiff competition though. Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane of Manchester City have both excelled and might be considered favourites.

Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are also expected to be in contention.

Away from these high profile names, here are five alternative contenders for this season's Young Player of the Year award.
