New Zealand came into this game riding high and off the back of five wins in a row against a Brisbane side starting the season slowly, were red hot favourites. However, a Wayne Bennett coached side rarely, if ever, plays poorly for too long and again this was the case, the Broncos coming away with the two points in Auckland. After beating the Cowboys and Titans the buck stopped here and a Queensland side is now the first to beat the blazing Warriors.
