This season can’t be spun. Whichever way Mauricio Pochettino looks at it, his squad have suffered an anti-climactic year. A campaign that had promised so much dissolved eventually into nothingness, placing the Argentine’s future into doubt. Having performed minor miracles since joining the club in 2014, Pochettino may find the time is right to try his luck elsewhere.
