The Xbox Series X will launch in less than 2 weeks on November 10th.
When pre-orders went live in September, players scrambled to secure their pre-orders so they didn't miss out.

Unfortunately many fans did miss out and no more consoles have appeared for sales.

Pre-orders for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S went live worldwide on September 22nd.
The Playstation 5 was first out of the gate beating Microsoft by a few days, selling out in an instant.
The same largely happened with the Xbox Series X and S too.
Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X will retail for $499/£449, while the digital PS5 will retail for $399/$349 and the Xbox Series X will cost $299/£249
Is Stock On Its Way?
Phil Spencer, the Head Of Xbox, has stated that it is unlikely that players will be able to purchase a new Xbox before the end of 2020, if they weren't able to secure a pre-order in September.
Speaking to the Dropped Frames podcast, Phil Spencer confirmed that stock shortages will last "for a few months".
"We know what our supply will look like basically for the rest of the year. We're going to have more demand than we do supply."
"And I will apologize in advance to people for that. We saw it with pre-orders, how much energy there was, and we were basically out of stock in a couple of hours, which is unfortunate. I think we are going to live in that world for a few months. We're going to have a lot more demand than we do supply."

This is very similar to what Sony Interactive Entertainment's CEO Jim Ryan recently said.
"The demand has been very considerable. Not everybody who wants a PS5 on launch day will be able to find one".
Black Friday 2020
Despite pre-order stock being completely sold out, some stores, including Best Buy, are using both consoles in their advertisements for the upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday events next month.
Black Friday takes place the day after Thanksgiving and is where many products are heavily discounted to kickstart Christmas shopping, and to offload old stock.
Even though the consoles are being used to advertised, don't expect a discount on either of them.

But it is possible that some stores have either been promised more stock for the event, or have kept a few units back in order to entice people into their stores over their competitors.
