NHL 22 Breaking Ice links directly to a partnership between EA Sports and UNINTERRUPTED Canada as they have begun a five-part digital series profiling champions of diversity in hockey.

Prokop, who is currently a prospect for the Nashville Predators after being selected 73rd overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, was the focus in their first episode.

While the digital series will look to tell the stories of these unique and diverse names from hockey, it's also been linked to a new promo in HUT 22.

NHL 22 Ultimate Team allows gamers to build their dream team of past, present, and future hockey legends.

For members of the queer community and anyone who wants to support him, that now also includes the option of putting young prospect Luke Prokop in your lineup.

While they haven't confirmed if other Breaking Ice subjects will get their own HUT 22 card as well, the next in line would be Indigenous Carolina Hurricane defenseman Ethan Bear who should be featured in an episode soon.
