NHL 22 Stanley Cup Playoffs: New Playoffs Items available in HUT 22 today


With the playoffs heating up in real life, these new NHL 22 Stanley Cup Playoff items are hitting the market quickly.

We've had four more cards added to the promo as well, giving players a chance to add to their HUT 22 lineup.

Let's take a look at the prices for packs and the new NHL 22 Stanley Cup Playoff items.

NHL 22 Stanley Cup Playoff Packs

With new packs in NHL 22 HUT, you can now add four players that are currently in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. We'll list those players below.

The important part is that these packs are going to cost quite a bit of coins. Still, if you can get them in your lineup, you'll see an instant boost.

Here are the new cards coming to the NHL 22 Stanley Cup Playoff packs:

  • Olli Maata - 98 OVR
  • Jeff Petr - 98 OVR
  • Jonathan Toews - 98 OVR
  • Corey Perry - 98 OVR

Here's the breakdown of prices for each of the available Stanley Cup Playoff packs:

  • MSP Premium Pack - Round 2 (Untradeable) - 140K Coins / 2,800 P
  • MSP Booster Pack - Round 2 (Untradeable) - 85K Coins / 1,700 P
  • Stanley Cup Starter Pack - Round 2 (Untradeable) - 80K Coins / 1,600 P
  • Hockey Legacy Pack - Round 2 - 55K Coins / 1,100 P
  • Playoff Pack - Round 2 - 22.5K Coins / 450 P

These packs will leave the NHL 22 HUT Marketplace on Thursday, May 26.

NHL 22 Roster Update (May 12)

The latest roster update for NHL 22 was released on May 12 and within it was the IIHF World Championship rosters were added as well.

Along with those rosters being added, a few players received a boost to their NHL 22 ratings. This was slightly before the release of the NHL 22 Stanley Playoff packs.

  • Cale Makar - 92 OVR +1
  • Alexsander Barkov - 91 OVR +1
  • Igor Shesterkin - 91 OVR +1
  • Robert Thomas - 87 OVR +2
  • Moritz Seider - 86 OVR +1

These are a few of the patch notes from the last official NHL 22 update in January:

General

  • International ruleset gamestyle tuning
  • Blocked passes stat tracking fix
  • Disabled manual one timer when celebrating after a goal

Gameplay

  • Fixed a few cases where hits were not resulting in interference calls
  • Fixed various interception animations where the puck was able to go under the stick since it wasn't flush to the ice
  • Fixed a couple cases where the puck was slipping underneath players unintentionally when performing a diving pokecheck
