The NHL 23 ratings were adjusted during a recent update that the game received.
Perhaps the most notable change was two players being updated to 80 OVR. We'll take a look at that announcement and a few other changes below.
NHL 23 Ratings Update - 10/20
With each week, we're moving quickly through the first month of hockey action from EA and this week we received an NHL 23 ratings update.
Two players received a special shoutout via the EANHL Twitter account. Both Andrei Kuzmenko and Jake Sanderson were bumped up.
This was a pretty sizable update that affected more than just the NHL 23 ratings. There were several bugs that were fixed with the latest update too.

Patch Notes for NHL 23 Update
Considering the game has only been out for a week, we're not surprised that it has had a few bugs, that's pretty much normal with new games.
The good news is EA has addressed a lot of these bugs, including the NHL 23 ratings, this should help the game play a lot smoother going forward.
The NHL 23 Update 1.10 was first released on October 19, 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
It's Version 1.10 on PS4, Version 1.010 on PS5 and finally Version 1.1.0.0 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Loyalty Rewards Program Details
We've got some great news for returning players as the Loyalty Rewards were finally cleared up just before the NHL 23 ratings update.
The rewards only affect HUT though, so keep that in mind and players have yet to receive the rewards but at least we know what they are.
As you can see, if you've been purchasing the game consistently since NHL 20, you'll be awarded with 10 Loyalty Packs.
With the latest update, perhaps some of these packs will have some cool HUT cards including a few of the latest additions to the platform.
