Each day, we're receiving more NHL 23 ratings and yesterday the focus was on attributes, showcasing the top wristshot and slapshot players.
Prior to that we learned who the best wing players were and the top defensemen in the game as well.
We're going to take a look at the top centers now that the NHL 23 ratings have been revealed for the position. Along with that, we're going to show you the top ten defensemen that were revealed.
Let's get started with the top ten centers, including Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews.

Top 10 Centers in NHL 23
It should be no shock that Connor McDavid leads the charge in terms of NHL 23 ratings with a 95 OVR, the best center of the game.
During the 2021-22 season, McDavid scored 123 points with 44 goals and 79 assists. Throughout his career, he's scored a total of 697 points.
With more NHL 23 ratings to be revealed as we head towards the release of the game, which is only a few months away.

Top 10 Defensemen in NHL 23
The defensemen NHL 23 ratings were split into two categories, left defensemen and right defensemen, however, we're going to combine them.
Cale Makar comes in at the top of the ratings for defensemen with a 94 OVR, rivaling even some of the best centers we revealed above.
We're hoping that EA will do the same thing they did with Madden 23 and provide an NHL 23 ratings hotline, allowing players to influence ratings.
