NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S: Download Size, Release Date, Editions & Pre Order Rewards

We're getting ready for the launch of the NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S version of the game along with the launch of the other platforms.

There are several things to take a look at before purchasing the game. This includes the pre order rewards and the release date for the game.

NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S

NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S is a next gen version of the game and will have a wide array of graphics upgrades over current gen platforms.

We saw this last year with some of the on-ice imagery and enhanced graphics. We're hoping to get an Xbox Series X|S deep dive in the coming weeks.

The gameplay trailer above details things like the X-Factor updates along with some of the last-minute puck movement details in NHL 23.

Once we receive a specific NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S version of the trailers we'll replace the one above.

NHL 23 Release Date & Editions

The official NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S release date is October 14, 2022, however, you can get Early Access with a certain edition of the game.

There are two editions, both available on Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition costs $59.99 on Xbox One and PS4, but it's a bit more at $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The X-Factor Edition of the game is the version that offers Early Access, giving players the chance to play the game three days early.

If there are any specific NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S specifics announced, there will likely be an announcement in a week or so.

Download Size on Xbox Series X|S

Although it hasn't been revealed yet, we can use previous games as a guide to come up with the NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S download size.

Last year, the size of the game was 53.43 GB on Xbox Series X|S but we're expecting it to be slightly larger this year and be around 59.34 GB.

The increase in size will likely be due to some of the upgrades that were implemented this year and some of the upgraded graphics.

Once the download size is officially released for the NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S version, we'll let you know.

Pre Order Rewards For Various Editions

The Standard Edition of the game doesn't offer very many rewards but it's still worth it to consider purchasing since it's so inexpensive.

You'll receive an X-Factor Women HUT Choice Pack, which is great for NHL 23 Xbox Series X|S HUT players but you won't get early access.

We mentioned the price for the Standard Edition of the game being far less than the X-Factor Edition which costs $99.99.
