Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a wonderfully charming new platformer from Hal. With tonnes of little activities and secrets to find, you may be wondering how much playtime you can get out of it. Here's what we know about it so far and what kind of range you may be looking at.

How long is Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

On average, Kirby and the Forgotten Land should take somewhere around 10 to 15 hours to complete. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is fundamentally a family game and can be enjoyed by any age group so it doesn't have brutal battles or esoteric puzzles. Fun is prioritised above all else. This is rather in line with the previous games and Nintendo's ethos as a whole.

Levels last no more than a couple of minutes at a time so the game is designed to be a breeze in the best way possible. With strong reviews and lovely visuals, it's easy to see why people love this game so much.

How long for Completionists?

Completionists may get a little more bang for their buck with this one. You can collect tonnes of extra goodies, complete unique challenges and even go through the whole thing again in New Game Plus mode.

As well as all of this, there are Waddle Dee Town Activities and hidden stages to beat. If you want to really see everything on offer, this could take upwards of 30 hours to really get through. This is likely not the end of the game either. If it sells well, it seems likely that we could receive free updates or paid DLC further down the line. We will update you right here if we get news of anything else.
