Pokemon is making moves into the MOBA world with the release of Pokemon Unite.
As we count down to the release of the game on Nintendo Switch, we've got everything you need to know so that you can jump in as early as possible once the servers are live.
Pokemon Unite Nintendo Switch Release Time
While we know for sure that Pokemon Unite will come to Nintendo Switch on July 21, the release time hasn't been officially confirmed yet.
Pokemon Unite will release on Switch at either midnight local time on July 21 or around 5pm BST/12pm ET.
While most games tend to release at midnight local time on Nintendo's eShop, some high profile digital releases aren't made live until later in the day, once everyone is able to jump in.
We confirm as soon as we know the release time for certain, so keep checking back with us.
Pre Order/Pre Load
No matter what time the game actually releases, you can download it now ahead of servers going live.
You can pre load Pokemon Unite now and it will install on July 21.
Download Size
The download size of the game has also been confirmed on Nintendo's official site.
To download Pokemon Unite on Switch, you'll need 928 MB of free space on your hard-drive or SD card.
Zeraora Bonus
The developers have also revealed that players who jump into the MOBA early will get a free bonus.
If you log into Pokemon unite before August 31, you'll get Zeraora for free and can use them for ever, taking advantage of their unique abilities in battles.
Is Pokemon Unite Free?
One of the questions many fans have as we get closer to release is: Is Pokemon Unite free to play?
In short, the answer is yes, but it's officially described as 'free to start' which means there will likely be significant microtransactions down the line for you to get involved with.
There is a battle pass system and more Pokemon for you to unlock. We'll know more about this once the game goes live, though.
Other Platform Release Dates
While Pokemon Unite is out for Nintendo Switch on July 21, we're still awaiting news on the iOS and Android releases, let alone when it is coming to platforms like PC.
We do know that Pokemon Unite is scheduled to come to mobile devices in September, but we don't have any more detail than that
