How to link your Nintendo Account to Pokemon Unite Mobile

Pokemon Unite has finally arrived on mobile devices. For those who have been playing on their Nintendo Switch, it's a breeze to link your account to enjoy seamless cross-play.

Here are the steps on how to do it.

Trainers' saved data

Trainers' game data is saved on their Pokemon Account or their Nintendo. This depends on where they first played: the Switch or on mobile.

Note that once your account is linked to the game, it cannot be reversed. Players will have to make sure that their game is linked to the same account on each device.

How does that work? For example, in order to sync saved data, the account should both be on the Switch and on your mobile device.

Linking your existing Nintendo account to mobile

You can link your existing Nitendo account to Pokemong Unite Mobile through the following steps:

  • Download and launch the game on any mobile device. On the title page, select the “Transfer Access to Data”
  • Important: If the game starts without selecting this option in the initial setup, you will not be able to sync existing data. The only solution for this is to uninstall the app and re-install it again.
  • Next, select the Pokemon Trainer Account or Nintendo Account option on the platform log-in screen. Remember to select the account that you want to link.
  • After this, the same saved data should be linked and will be available to access on both devices.
