Overwatch 2 Ramattra had his official gameplay trailer released last night which showed off his new playstyle.

With a duality to the hero, he is the first in Overwatch 2 to have two sides to him.


Being an Omnic but also part of the Omnic resistance means he has a peaceful side which he uses to block, and an aggressive side to fight the power.

This is why the community are so excited to play as him.

His abilities shown in the gameplay trailer also look like he is going to be very fun to play with.

With a lovely mix of offence and defence, his gameplay seems to cover all areas of combat.

Wiping out an entire enemy team has never been easier with the new hero, Ramattra.

His gameplay shows the multitude of abilities he has and how to utilise them well.

From his ability which brings down flying enemies to his insane block and shield.

However, this all ties in perfectly with his offensive side and makes for a powerful foe.

It's hard to see how to counter Ramattra in this gameplay trailer with his range of strong abilities.


However, the only way to see how he plays and develops is to put him into the live game and see how he copes in the meta.

Ramattra and Zenyatta in Overwatch 2


Annihilation – Create a spreading swarm of nanobots that creep out in front of you, dealing damage and reducing enemy damage dealt by 50%.

Nemesis Form

Transform into Nemesis Form, changing your attacks and gaining bonus armour.

Ravenous Vortex

Fire a nano ball, which explodes when it hits the ground, spreading a damaging field. Affected enemies are also slowed and pulled downward

Void Accelerator Fires a stream of projectiles in a fixed pattern. Create a barrier at the targeted location.

Nemesis Form Pummel – Punch forward, creating a wave of energy with every swing. Significantly reduces damage taken from the front and reduces movement speed.
