There's plenty of excitement around Overwatch as we approach the Overwatch 2 Beta, and before its launch, we'll get our first taste of Overwatch's future events in 2022 called the Anniversary Remix.
These events will remove the likes of the Summer Games and Winter Wonderland and "remix" others.
This means that some of the fan-favorite events Overwatch players know well will be split into three different volumes in a three-part event. This will mean the opportunity to unlock any skin from previous events, as well as new skins that are getting "remixed."
A total of six old skins are getting makeovers for each volume, and with Volume 1 starting on April 5, here's what the new skins will look like come release!

The first wave of new Overwatch Anniversary content will soon arrive on April 5th with the start of Volume 1.
While there's no official release time for the event yet, we expect it will start at 2pm EST like the events it is replacing.
All Overwatch Anniversary Remix Volume 1 Event Skins
Thanks to Overwatch source "OverwatchNaeri", players have been given a first look at what Volume 1's skins have to offer.
As seen in the pictures, some of Overwatch's most iconic heroes such as Mercy, D.Va and Genji will be amongst the first to have revamped skins.
All of these "remixed" Legendary skins will be available when Volume 1 goes live. Here is the list.

- Evermore Reaper
- Mage Mercy
- Steelhardt Reinhardt
- White Cat D.VA
- Zealot Zenyatta
Although Overwatch is known for its oftentimes colorful and vibrant skins that never cease to amaze, Volume 1 of the Anniversary Remix will take on a different approach.
Sporting a white chroma to them, all six of the selected heroes will have some of their fan-favorite skins take on a different twist. This means that although their colors and some of their hue will change, the skins will still be distinguishable.
According to Blizzard Community Manager AndyB, these Anniversary skins "offer a spin on our ‘greatest hits’ with new looks for some of the most popular skins ever released, and you can look forward to six of them per Remix event."
How to get Overwatch Anniversary Remix Event Skins
The new Overwatch Anniversary Remix Volume 1 Event skins will be purchasable via the game's in-game shop.
This means that once Overwatch Anniversary Remix Volume 1 Event goes live on April 25, they will be able to go directly to the shop and acquire them.
There is no confirmation of the price yet, but going by previous events on how much their Legendary skins cost upon release, chances are players can expect these six "remixed" Legendary skins to be up for sale at 2000 credits.
