Divot Derby is a popular multiplayer game mode that will be returning in 2K23.
The concept is simple - 20 players tee off simultaneously, sending multicoloured ball flight trails streaking through the air.

The first golfer to make it to the ninth and final hole wins.
Online Societies
Online Societies is another multiplayer mode that will be back for this year's upcoming release.
Online Societies are user-created clubs that you can set up with your friends, or join with a group of strangers.
Anyone can create one, and the players who run these Societies can schedule Stroke Play tournaments for all members to compete in.
Online Societies allow you to challenge fellow players around the world in one to four-day tournaments.
Topgolf
Topgolf is an all-new game mode that will be introduced to PGA Tour 2K23.

The player with the most points at the end of the round will be crowned victorious.

Both single-player modes, Match Play and Traditional Stroke will be making a return in PGA Tour 2K23.
Match Play
Match play is a form of play where a player (or players) plays directly against an opponent (or opponents) in a head-to-head match.
You win a hole by completing it in the fewest number of strokes, and you win a match when you are winning by more holes than remain to be played.
Traditional Stroke
Traditional Stroke is a form of play where a player (or players) competes against all others in the competition by comparing a total score for one or more rounds.
In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole.
Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score.
