TAKE YOUR PICK - PGA Tour 2K21 arrived on all the expected consoles

PGA Tour 2K21 was released on PS4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia, and we'd expect very much the same this year.

Of course, the game was released before PS5 and Xbox Series X|S arrives, so perhaps some Next Gen enhancements are in the pipeline this time around.

Pro Golfers

We already know that Golfing royalty Tiger Wood will be playable in this year's game, but he won't be the only pro whose shoes you can step into.

2K has confirmed that more pros will be playable in this year's game, with celebrities also joining the roster:

Here's a list of every confirmed playable character in PGA Tour 2K23:

  • Tiger Woods
  • Justin Thomas
  • Colin Morikawa
  • Lexi Thompson
  • Michael Jordan

New swing mechanic

This year, PGA Tour 2K23 will offer the choice of two different swing mechanics for the very first time.

The traditional analog swing remains in the game and will likely be the choice for the more experienced golfers.

However, a new 3-click swing mechanic will also be available if that is more to your liking.

After no news for a considerable length of time, EA has confirmed that EA Sports PGA Tour will be released in Spring 2023.

This is a year delay on the previous release date, so this game better be epic when it eventually hits the shelves!

The delay does leave a 'gimme' for 2K Games to secure a monopoly on golf games in 2022.
