How to watch the new State of Play presentation & when it takes place

There's a new State of Play presentation coming today and we've got everything you need to know about how you can watch the upcoming State of Play and everything you need to know about what it's about.

What's The New State Of Play About?

If you watched the last State of Play presentation, you'll know that it was pretty focused on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. This new State of Play presentation is going to be like that, but they're swapping out Ratchet & Clank with Aloy!

Horizon Forbidden West is the big focus of this new presentation and we're looking forward to finally seeing a bit of gameplay from the next game in Guerrilla's Horizon franchise.

This game will follow on from Horizon Zero Dawn, but take Aloy to a dangerous new frontier as she continues to search for answers about what went wrong all those years before. There's a new batch of enemies and new things to uncover, but we're certain that Sylens and HADES are going to crop up at some point.

We're not sure we'll see that reveal in today's State of Play, though. That feels like a dramatic third-act reveal for the full game. The State of Play presentation is due to be about 20 minutes long, with at least 14 minutes of that being gameplay!

How To Watch It

PlayStation, as always, is looking towards "Ol' Reliable" to host their State of Play presentation later today.

The unique countdown for the event begins at 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 17:00 BST and will last around five hours. This means the full gameplay reveal for Horizon Forbidden West is due to kick off at 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 17:00 BST.

There's a little bit of time to wait, but it will be worth it. You can also keep an eye on the PlayStation Twitter account and Guerrilla's social media channels for the latest regarding how you can watch the new State of Play and what's in-store.
