PlayStation 5: Sony announces India price details - Next Gen, DualSense, Digital & more

The release of the PlayStation 5 is agonisingly close!

The Next Gen Sony console will launch in seven markets including the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea on November 12.

But despite launching in a number of different countries, we were yet to hear any word on the console's price in India, until now!

PS5 Pricing Confirmed

The pricing for the PS5 in India has now been officially confirmed, retailing at a modest Rs 49,990.

If you're wanting to save a few quid - or just don't feel you need a disk drive - then you can opt for the cheaper Digital Edition, which is set to retail at Rs 39,990.

For those looking to invest in an extra DualSense controller, you'll be looking at Rs 5,990.

The PlayStation HD Camera will come in at Rs 5,190.

Release Date

Despite the pricing announcement, there is still no word on when the PlayStation 5 will be released in India.

November 12 is the release date for the console for those in any of the following countries: US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico and South Korea.

The rest of the confirmed countries will have to wait an extra week, with the console released on November 19 elsewhere.

There has been no confirmation as of yet, but this is looking like the most likely date for the India launch.
