Battle royale games have dominated the gaming landscape over the past few years, with millions of players flocking to games such as Call of Duty Warzone, and Apex Legends. Their godfather, however, the game that popularised the Battle Royale genre, is PUBG, which along with its PUBG Mobile has continued to go from strength to strength.

This August, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the brand new movie in the franchise, has come roaring onto our screens, and to celebrate PUBG Mobile is doing a landmark collaboration.

Release date

Unfortunately, there has been limited information about when exactly the collaboration will be coming to the game. All we know for certain is that it will be in 2023 and that that is a long time to wait for anxious fans.

If previous experience is anything to go by though, once 2023 hits we won't have long to wait, because one thing for certain is that PUBG mobile will have lots of other exciting projects in the works for later on in the year.

While it might not be over 9000, if the previous projects are anything to go by, there will be a ton of playable content for fans to get to grips with. If there’s one thing that feels better than getting to that final circle, it’s clutching the game of your life playing your favourite characters from your favourite series.

Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO is now out in cinemas around the world, and fans are loving it. If you’re a fan of the series or just the genre in general, definitely check your local cinema for showing times.
