After leaked images of the sneakers first emerged in February 2021, Nike has finally set a release date for the Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Off Noir" and "Sail" colourways.
Their 2022 arrival marks the return of Sacai-designed VaporWaffle's which originally debuted in 2020 during Paris Fashion Week, and quickly became a fan-favourite thanks to their wearability and distinctive style.
As a result, the "Off Noir" and "Sail" colourways are some of the most hotly anticipated sneaker drops this year, perhaps even more so than Drake's upcoming NOCTA x Nike collaboration.

Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Off Noir And Sail Drop Date
The "Off Noir" and "Sail" VaporWaffle's are out now after dropping at 10 a.m. EDT on the 10 March 2022, or 8 a.m GMT if you're based in the UK.

Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Off Noir And Sail Designs
While the "Off Noir" and "Sail" colourways are tonal opposites, they both share the new nylon, suede, and leather construction as opposed to the knitted approach Sacai took back in 2020.
The "Sail" sneakers combine white leather with, unsurprisingly, Sail overlays, dressing the Swooshes, mudguards, heel counters, eyestays, and even elements of the midsoles.
As come to be expected with Sacai collaborations, everything is doubled up including the Swooshes and tongue tabs, plus the laces are extra thick to match the stacked sole units.
You'll then find gum rubber outsoles with protruding lugs for extra grip during slippery winter and autumn months.
Much of the design details are kept exactly the same when it comes to the "Off Noir" relative of the "Sail" sneakers.
The only real difference is the colour scheme which is best described as 'triple-black' thanks to their black leather, suede, and nylon construction.

A men's pair of either the "Off Noir" or "Sail" VaporWaffle's cost $180, or £164.95 for UK residence.
