New Rocket League Patch Notes highlight preparations for NASCAR

There's a new Rocket League update out in the wild and we have the latest set of Patch Notes for you to look over. What's changing? Which bugs have been fixed? Here's everything we know.

New Rocket League Update

Despite the fact that Psyonix themselves have stated that this update "prepares Rocket League for upcoming NASCAR and Formula 1 content", the Patch Notes themselves don't really reflect this.

This means we still don't really know what's coming in the future. We are expecting two bundles, a NASCAR bundle and a Formula 1 bundle, but for now, that's all we really know.

The other major feature of the recent update is the Arena Rotation adjustments that have been made. Salty Shores (Night) is in, Neon Fields and Forbidden Temple (Day) are out and this includes Tournaments and Standard playlists. We don't think this will be the last time we see them though, but Psyonix has stated that some tweaks needed to be made.

The Rocket League Patch Notes pertain to an update that's available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Full Patch Notes

If you'd rather just see the full v1.96 Patch Notes straight from Rocket League developers Psyonix themselves, we're happy to oblige.
