ATP Next Gen Finals Format

The tournament is competed in a round-robin format, with eight players separated into two groups of four.

Each player will play the other three players in their group, with the winner from each group advancing to the semi-finals as the seeded player. They will take on the runner-up from the alternate group.

The format of the matches is different from the one seen on the traditional ATP Tour circuit, with players required to win four games per set, rather than the usual six. A tie-break will be used if required at 3-3.

Matches are played in a best-of-five sets format. There will be no-ad scoring at 40-40.
