The Formula 1 season heads to Budapest this weekend with the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Last year's race provided an incredible spectacle, and this year could offer more of the same with the prospect of rain on Sunday.
Last Time: French Grand Prix
The French Grand Prix was another weekend to forget for Ferrari. Charles Leclerc appeared to have the race wrapped up early on before crashing unexpectedly.
This left Max Verstappen a clear run to his seventh win of the season, with Mercedes filling out the rest of the podium as they clawed back more points on Ferrari in the Constructor standings.
Things may have been different if Ferrari had opted for a different strategy for Carlos Sainz, but the Spaniard was left to wonder what could have been as he ran out of laps to catch the leaders.
Sainz did register the fastest lap late on to secure an extra point, but the two-stop strategy did not pay off. Ferrari will need to get their act together after a chaotic French GP weekend.
The Championship Lowdown
Verstappen's win in France meant a 25-point gain on Leclerc last weekend, stretching his lead to 63 points.
The Dutchman's Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez now finds himself just seven points behind Leclerc. A strong showing from the Mexican could see him leapfrog Leclerc into second.
George Russell is now one point behind Carlos Sainz, with Sainz's fastest lap leaving him clear in fourth place.
In the Constructor standings, winless Mercedes trails Ferrari by 44 points, while Red Bull's 82-point lead looks insurmountable at this stage.
Storylines and Predictions
The big news ahead of the weekend is that Sebastian Vettel will retire at the end of the current season.
The four-time World Champion will leave a seat vacant for Aston Martin and could be replaced by fellow veteran and current Alpine driver Fernando Alonso for next year.
As racing goes, Lewis Hamilton has won at Hungaroring eight times which should offer a glimmer of hope for Mercedes fans as they seek their first win of the season.
Esteban Ocon sensationally won last year's Hungarian Grand Prix, but a repeat of that result seems unlikely, to say the least.
