The 2022/23 Champions League has now entered the first knockout stage with the first legs already complete in what proved to be an entertaining gameweek.
Real Madrid gave the perfect send-off to club legends Gareth Bale and Marcelo as they beat Liverpool in the 2021/22 Champions League, defeating the likes of Chelsea, PSG, Manchester City and Liverpool on their path to victory.
Manchester City will be eager to claim their first European title this season after losing in the final and semi-final in the past two seasons, while Liverpool will be keen to avenge their defeat to Real Madrid.

Following a comfortable group stage and convincing first-leg performance against RB Leipzig, Manchester City are the current favourites to taste glory in the 2022/23 Champions League, priced up at 2/1 to win the competition.
Bayern Munich impressed against PSG in the first leg of their round of 16 tie and are therefore priced up as the second-favourites for Champions League glory, despite their troubles in the Bundesliga.
Napoli are the runaway leaders in Serie A and looked convincing against Eintracht Frankfurt last time out, reflected in their price at 13/2.
Chelsea are also well-fancied to win the competition, despite struggling under Graham Potter this season.
