Novak Djokovic will return to the Australian Open courts this January following a controversial exclusion from the 2022 tournament due to his refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Serbian megastar is the convincing favourite to win the 2023 Australian Open with a best price of just over evens at 6/5 while reigning champion Rafael Nadal is currently priced up at 10/1.

Second in the betting order came Carlos Alcaraz, who broke records at the back end of 2022 when he beat fellow starlet Casper Ruud to claim his first-ever Grand Slam title at the US Open, but the young Spaniard has seen the start to his season postponed due to injury.
