Hamilton's chances look a little more slim than the Monegasque's given Mercedes' turbulent experience during pre-season testing in Bahrain last week, but it remains to be seen whether or not the Silver Arrows are hiding some of their true performance.

Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez played second fiddle to their teammates in 2022 and that is reflected in their prices for the 2023 championship with both drivers available to back at a price of 20/1.

The wildcard in the pack is Fernando Alonso, who is priced as short as 25/1 to win a third WDC. The Spaniard made the switch to Aston Martin during the winter break and will be delighted with that decision after experiencing the car's dramatic uptake in performance during pre-season testing.
