Borussia Dortmund head into the quarter-final tie with some key squad members injured, while Pep Guardiola has a fully-fit group of players at his disposal.

Manchester City Predicted 11

We are expecting to see Man City use a back four of Kyle Walker, John Stones, Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo on the left side - with the creativity and control in the centre of the park which he brings.

CITIZENS: Can Man City go all the way in 2021 and win the Champions League?

In midfield, we would be very surprised if Gundogan didn't return to the starting 11, along with Rodri and Bernardo Silva.

Guardiola will choose from Sterling, Mahrez and Foden to occupy the wide areas, with Belgian magician Kevin De Bruyne operating in the false 9 position.

UNDERDOGS - After another poor domestic result BVB will be fully focused on Europe

With trusted midfielder Witsel still on the road to recovery after suffering a torn achilles tendon in January, teenager Jude Bellingham is likely to retain his central midfield berth, presenting England fans the chance to see the Brummie in action ahead of Euro 2020.

Out: Jadon Sancho (muscle), Axel Witsel (achilles), Dan-Axel Zagadou (knee), Marcel Schmelzer (knee), Youssoufa Moukoko (ligament), Mahmoud Dahoud (suspension)

Form Guide

City scored three goals in each of their first three Group C victories this season, beating Porto (3-1), Marseille and Olympiacos (both 3-0) before a 1-0 win in Greece on Matchday 4 secured progress.

A 2-0 win against Leicester City in their last outing increased Man City's lead at the top of the Premier League.

Borussia Dortmund currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga, having lost 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt in their previous outing.

Mixed results have been at the heart of an unsettled period for Dortmund, but they could turn things around in the Champions League!

Prediction

With only one win to boast from their last five matches, compared to City's perfect record in that period, Dortmund are not exactly high on confidence.

Haaland is always capable of popping up with a crucial goal for the Black and Yellow, but a fully-fit and in-form City can sweep aside almost anything in their path, so we can only back a first leg triumph for Guardiola's men.
