Ben Garner's Charlton departure: As it happened

Ben Garner started out his senior management career at Swindon Town following spells on the coaching staff at Crystal Palace, West Brom and Indian Super League outfit ATK.

Following an impressive spell at Swindon, Garner was appointed as manager of Charlton in June of 2022, but there was no immediate positive impact at the Valley.

Charlton have won just five of their 20 league games under Garner this season, although a last-gasp comeback in a 4-4 draw against Ipswich will live long in the memory of Addicks fans.
