Hull City have parted ways with Georgian manager Shota Arveladze following a dismal run of form in the Championship.

The club's Turkish owners have invested heavily in the playing staff this summer, bringing in established talents such as Oscar Estupinan, Ozan Tufan and Jean Michel Seri in a bid to remain competitive at the top end of the table.

With the board's quest for a new head coach set to get underway, RealSport101's Harry Smith is on hand to give you the latest odds to replace Shota Arveladze as Hull City manager.

Arveladze's Hull departure: As it happened

Hull were tipped as potential dark horses in the EFL Championship this season following one of the busiest summers in the Football League, but it has not turned out this way.

The jury was out on Shota Arveladze at the end of the 2021/22 Championship season following an inconsistent end to the campaign, and the Georgian boss has done little to boost his stature in the new campaign.

The Tigers currently sit down in 20th place heading into the international break for the Nations League fixtures and have suffered four consecutive defeats in the league.

Arveladze's time as Hull boss has now come to an end.
