Edwards's Watford departure: As it happened

Rob Edwards was one of the most sought-after EFL managers in the summer following his miraculous promotion with Forest Green Rovers, who are now playing in League One for the first time in their history.

The Pozzo's moved quickly to bring Edwards to Vicarage Road and promised that the young manager would be backed heavily and given time to prove his worth, given the scale of the step up from League Two management.

However, with Watford sitting down in 10th place following an underwhelming start to the campaign, the board have pulled the trigger on Edwards' time as manager.
