Hargreaves' Yeovil Town departure: As it happened

Chris Hargreaves has overseen a disappointing start to the 2022/23 National League season with Yeovil Town currently languishing down in 21st place after 15 games.

Back-to-back 2-0 defeats against Oldham and Aldershot proved to be the final straw for Hargreaves, who is now without a job following a disappointing tenure at Huish Park.

Speaking to the club website, Yeovil Town chairman Scott Priestnall stated “I would firstly like to thank Chris for his effort & professionalism during his time at Huish Park. 

“After internal discussions this week, it has been decided that it’s best we go our separate ways. We wish Chris every success in the future.

“There will be a further update on the management situation before Saturday’s trip to Maidstone United.”
