The big news from Nintendo is that the brand-new Nintendo Switch Sports is coming soon on... you guessed it, Nintendo Switch!
We can't wait to see the 'Wii Sports sequel' in all its glory as it should provide nostalgia as well as a fun, interactive gaming experience.
With six sports set to be made available upon release and more arriving later in the year, the expectation is understandably high for the new game.

Latest - Online Play Test registrations OPEN
The official Nintendo UK Twitter account has announced that registrations for the Nintendo Switch Sports Online Play Test are now open.
Three of the sports will be playable during the Online Play Test, these are:
- Tennis
- Bowling
- Chambara
In order to take part in the online playtest, an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required.
Release Date
The new Nintendo Switch Sports game will be released on Friday, 29 April 2022.
Nintendo will also hold an online play test from Friday, 19 February through to Sunday, 20 February which will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members.
On Nintendo's site, the information reads: "To prepare for the release of Nintendo Switch Sports on April 29th, we’ll be conducting an Online Play Test to evaluate various technical aspects and help improve the quality of the game."

Price
The price for Nintendo Switch Sports is set at £39.99 / $39.99 on Amazon.
You can also buy the game direct from the Nintendo eShop for £30.99 provided you sign in with your Nintendo account.
Pre-order
You can buy the game from Amazon here - which includes a leg strap for the JoyCon controller.
It may be worth waiting until after the online playtest to decide whether the game is worth moving for.
