England has long been the trailblazers for women in football and the Women's Super League retains its crown as the most competitive women's domestic league in the world heading into the 2022/23 season.

When are the 2022/23 Women's Super League fixtures announced?

The wait for the 2022/23 Barclays Women's Super League fixtures release is nearly over with every team's schedule set to be published on Tuesday, July 12th and 3pm UK time.

Women's football fans can already look ahead to the start of the 2022/23 Women's Championships season with the full fixture list for the English second tier now available.

Each Women's Super League team will play 22 fixtures in the upcoming season, as is the traditional number, playing each of the 11 other sides twice on a home and away rotation.

While the Women's Championship may be starting in early August, the start of the 2022/23 Women's Super League season has been pushed back to the weekend of the 9th to the 11th of September, to allow for full recovery from this summer's Women's EURO 2022.
