The EFL Championship season draws to a close today, with four sides still in the hunt to join Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town in the end-of-season playoff party.
Sheffield United and Luton Town are the overwhelming favourites to reach the playoffs, although there is still hope for Middlesborough and Milwall.
But when will the 2022 EFL Championship Playoffs take place? Here is everything that you need to know.
EFL Championship Playoffs Schedule
As we have already alluded to, Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town have secured their spots in the playoffs, whilst Sheffield United, Luton Town, Middlesbrough and Millwall are hoping to join them.
The full Championship playoff schedule is as follows:
Semi-final first leg dates
- 6th vs 3rd - Friday, 13th May, 7:45pm
- 5th vs 4th - Saturday, 14th May, 7:45pm
Semi-final second leg dates
- 3rd vs 6th - Monday, 16th May, 7:45pm
- 4th vs 5th - Tuesday, 17th May, 7:45pm
Championship play-off final date
The Championship play-off final will be contested on Sunday, 29th May. The game will kick off at 4:30pm GMT.
Who has been promoted?
Fulham were the first side to secure their promotion to the Premier League for the 2022/23 season, as Marco Silva's side wrapped up the Championship title with games to spare.
Their promotion charge was aided by the incredible goalscoring record of Aleksandr Mitrovic, who broke the record for the most goals scored in a single, 46-game Championship season when he netted his 42nd and 43rd of the campaign in their 7-0 rout of Luton Town.
They will be joined in the Premier League by AFC Bournemouth, who have secured their immediate return to the top-flight with a runners up finish in the Championship.
Scott Parker's side ensured that they would avoid any potential playoff heartbreak with a 1-0 victory over 3rd placed Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening.
