Domestic football has returned across the majority of Europe, with the Premier League, LaLiga and Bundesliga among those in full swing.

But attention will soon turn towards the biggest tournament in European football, with the UEFA Champions League due to get underway next month.

Before it can begin, the sides have to be allocated into their respective groups, which can only mean one thing. The UEFA Champions League group stage draw is fast approaching.

When is the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League group stage draw?

The Champions League 2022-23 group stage draw will take place on Thursday, August 25th 2022.

This year's draw will be held in Turkey at Istanbul's Halic Congress Center. Istanbul has been selected as the host city for this season's UEFA Champions League final.

The event is scheduled to begin at 5pm BST.
