Where is the Scottish Open snooker being played 2022?


The 2022-23 snooker season is underway, with the Scottish Open the latest Home Nations Series event to take place.

The event will return to Scotland after COVID-19 restrictions meant that the 2021 edition of the tournament was held in Llandudno, Wales.

But whereabouts will the event take place this year? Here is everything that you need to know.

Where will the 2022 Scottish Open take place?

Scottish snooker fans will be delighted to hear that their Home Nations Series event has returned back to their homeland.

The Meadowbank Sports Centre in Edinburgh will once again play host to the event, which is set to take place on the week beginning Monday, November 28th.

Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump and Neil Robertson are among the favourites to claim victory in the Scottish capital. There will be no repeat success for 2021 champion Luca Brecel after he was eliminated by Fraser Patrick in the qualifying rounds.
