Emma Raducanu begins her 2022 Wimbledon Women's Singles campaign on Monday when she takes on Alison Van Uytvanck on Monday afternoon.

The British No.1 will follow Novak Djokovic on Centre Court as she prepares for a tough run into the Women's Singles tournament. Raducanu could face World No.1 Iga Swiatek on her way to the final, as well as major challengers Ons Jabeur and Anett Kontaveit.

First up for Raducanu will be a tricky test in the experienced Alison Van Uytvanck with the game set to take place on Monday, June 27th.

Who is Alison Van Uytvanck?

Alison Van Uytvanck is a Belgian tennis professional who is currently World No.46. She is coached by Ann Devries and heads into the Wimbledon 2022 Women's Singles championship looking to make her first Grand Slam splash.

Van Uytvanck has pedigree at Wimbledon, reaching the Round of 166 back in 2018, but has rarely threatened to go deeper into Grand Slam competitions with her career-best result being a quarter-final appearance at the French Open back in 2015.

The 28-year-old will still pose a major threat to Raducanu though with the British starlet heading into this summer's Championships way off full fitness and without an appointed coach.
