Who is the Buffalo Bills backup quarterback 2022?

The Buffalo Bills are one of the hot favourites to claim victory in Super Bowl LVII in February, and with Josh Allen leading a star-studded offence, it's not hard to see why.

The Wyoming graduate enjoyed a stellar 2021 season, throwing for 4,407 yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions as he lead the Bills to the Divisional Round of the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

It is expected that Allen will play every available minute in the 2022 season, but who will be on hand to provide cover for the 26-year-old in the event of his absence?

Who is the Buffalo Bills' backup quarterback for 2022?

Case Keenum is the backup quarterback for the Buffalo Bills for the 2022 season.

The 34-year-old veteran has been involved with the NFL since being picked up by the Houston Texans having gone undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Keenum has enjoyed spells with a number of different NFL franchises since joining the league and was named as the starting QB for the LA Rams in 2016, the Minnesota Vikings in 2017 and the Denver Broncos in 2018.

The Buffalo Bills acquired the services of the NFL journeyman in March 2022, as they traded their 2022 seventh-round pick to the Cleveland Browns in return for their new backup QB.

He has featured twice for the Bills since his move but is yet to make a start for the Buffalo-based franchise.
