UFC 4 has added two new fighters to the game's roster while revealing their ratings, and they're known for deadly striking ability.
Li Jingliang and Sodiq Yusuff are joining the fray, so here's everything you need to know about the new fighters added to UFC 4.
Li Jingliang joins UFC 4 with strong ratings
We haven't seen Li Jingliang in almost five months since he stepped into the octagon with Santiago Ponzinibbio. The 33 year old welterweight from China knocked out Ponzinibbio in round one of that fight, so we're getting a pretty powerful fighter in this add.
Being that Li Jingliang is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fans might expect his grappling to be a little higher than what it is at 3.5 stars. His lack of wrestling might be what justifies this rating.
Nevertheless, Li's bread and butter is his striking which comes in at 4.5 stars. His health gets that same rating, so he's not only good at knocking out his opponent but he's hard to knockout.
This gives Li a solid 4 star rating, which is about accurate as he was ranked 11th in the UFC welterweight rankings that released about a month ago.
If you're looking for a 5 star rated option, UFC 4 recently boosted Daniel Cormier to the exclusive max rated club.
Sodiq Yusuff added in Roster Update
Sodiq Yusuff last fought in early April when he lost by decision in UFC Fight Night's main event. It was a respectable loss, as his opponent Arnold Allen hasn't lost a fight in almost seven years. On top of that, his loss to Allen was only the second loss of the 28-year-old's career.
Yusuff is also ranked at 11th in his respective weight class: featherweight. The Nigerian fighter gets the same exact ratings as Li: 3.5 star grappling, 4.5 star striking, and 4.5 stark health. This might be because Yusuff's background is in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well.
Obviously, this puts Yusuff at a strong 4 star overall rating.
