World of Warcraft's dragon-themed expansion, Dragonflight, brings on tons of new content, features, and more. One of these is the Dragon Isles, the expansion's marquee zone where players can explore, and level in.
Similar to Pandaria in the Mists of Pandaria expansion, the Dragon Isles are a long-forgotten land, thousands and thousands of years old. Although shrouded in mystery, the continent has been sitting in the MMORPG's files since the game's inception. Now, it's finally here.

How to get to the Dragon Isles in WoW Dragonflight
Assuming you have the Dragonflight expansion purchased and are level 60—Shadowlands' max level—you can begin your journey toward the Dragon Isles.
In order to get to the Dragon Isles, you will have to complete a small quest chain. If you've completed these quests prior in the pre-patch just go to the Stormwind Harbor if Alliance or the harbor by Orgrimmar if Horde and take the respective ship or zeppelin to the Dragon Isles. If you haven't completed the quests, follow the steps below.
You'll have to accept and complete the "The Dragon Isles Await" quest and the following quests. To begin the quest chain, Alliance players will be contacted by Wrathion while Horde players will go see Ebyssian.
Each of the black drakes can be found in the respective faction's capital city: Stormwind for Alliance players and Orgrimmar for Horde players.
Players will receive two quests upon logging in, "Expeditionary Coordination", and "The Dark Talons." Upon completing them, players will get sent to the harbor of Stormwind or Orgrimmar, depending on the faction. There, for Horde players, Khadgar will give you the "Whispers on the Winds" quest, updating you on the current situation, and Naleidea Rivergleam will give you another quest titled "To the Dragon Isles!."
For Alliance players, on the other hand, after meeting with Wrathion and talking with both him and Turalyon about the events between Shadowlands and on, you'll get two quests: "Expeditionary Coordination" and "The Obsidian Watchers." Similar to the quests for Horde players, you'll be tasked with recruiting allies and delivering orders to prep for the Dragon Isles. From then on, you'll go to the Stormwind Harbor, talk with Khadgar, after he appears from the portal, and then you'll get the "To the Dragon Isles!" quest from Toddy Whiskers to board the ship sailing toward the Dragon Isles.
